It was a declared public holiday in Singapore last September 11 as it was the polling day. We took the chance to relax on that long weekend. We wanted somewhere near so we immediately looked online. Batam, Indonesia seemed to be the most affordable option for us. So off we go!
The resort is quite old and I do not know if it was off peak or people just really don't go to this resort anymore.
We requested for the pool view and I am glad we did because there was nothing on the other side of the hotel. Below is the view from our room.
Below is their lobby.
They offer a lot of activities inside the resort - biking, table tennis, jet ski, etc - I was not able to check out the prices of each as we went there to just totally relax and un-wind.
I don't think people would want to swim here but it's definitely good for water activities.
Below are their villas. They actually look really nice and seem to be very relaxing.
You can also buy souvenirs from the resort.
THE FOOD :
My favourite part of traveling is of course, eating. Haha. I don't have a lot of pictures because it's either I was super hungry and focus on eating or I was not satisfied with the food ... meaning I was not inspired so I didn't take the photo.
We ordered this spring roll and I think it was the best thing that ever happened on that trip. LOL.
And of course, for my dessert / drink - chocolate milkshake. It was not the best milkshake, but hey, I am craving for something sweet.
Will I come back to this resort? Probably not, but I'll return for that spring roll! LOL.
