Snapshots from Yogyakarta, Indonesia - March 2016

It was my first time in Yogyakarta. Had a very relaxing massage on our first day and booked our tours.

On our 2nd day, we woke up at 2:30am and picked up at 3:30am to see the sunrise.

We waited for about 1 or 2 hrs for the sun.

Going down from the view point, I saw these beautiful flowers. Flower photos are always good to look at. I feel like a pro when I look at them haha. It would be nice to know the name of these flowers.

After that, we headed to Borobudur temple. There were a lot of students that day and it was so humid.

Below are some of the details from the temple. Being the world's largest Buddhist temple as well as UNESCO World Heritage site, it's a must visit site.

Nice view from the top of the temple.

I got lucky to take this shot without a single person on sight.

On the same day, we visited the Prambanan temple. It is a Hindu temple and another UNESCO World Heritage site. The heat was unbearable so we were not really able to explore the site.

The next day, we went to Pindul Cave - I have videos from my gopro but got deleted when I was reviewing them. I am still figuring out how to retrieve them. LOL.

But after the cave, we went to Indrayanti beach. You cannot swim here. People are catching small fish from the shallow water and people are hanging out with beach umbrella on the shore, perfect for people watching.

Now planning for my next travel destination.
