Where we stayed in Vietnam

Au Lac Saigon Hotel. This is where we stayed when we went to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. I booked it via an online site. We paid USD 50 per night. I like it's location (District 1) because it's very near the tourist spots and it is safe. This is a pretty new hotel too.

The service is superb! I asked for the airport transfer service when we arrived and the driver waited for an hour because we arrived late due to some problems in Changi airport.

This hotel has a spa but I don't really recommend it. When we went there to have a massage, I think they went outside to get some girl from another spa. And after the massage my legs were so painful. I kept telling her, not so hard.. not so hard.. but she kept going. It was actually more of a funny experience because we really cannot understand each other!

For breakfast, they serve Vietnamese food but there's not a lot of variety. Lols. Sorry, but when I check in to a hotel, the breakfast is the one I am really looking forward to aside from the bed of course! haha.

Also, the wifi is everywhere in this hotel, which I really like! That's a big plus!

The view from our hotel? Roof! haha

I like this!

Yes, I can see what you're doing inside the toilet! haha

The building on the left is the tallest building in Ho Chi Minh city!

  1. Ah, Diamond Plaza is the tallest building in HCMC? Not Intercon?
